The Call--Part 1

It is funny if you think about it. I got a call at 11:45 am today to tell me I would get a call at 5:30 p.m. with information about Phoebe. It figures the process would be different even now. I was supposed to see on the web site that referrals had come and my call would be the next day, i.e., tomorrow. But instead the calls are coming on the same day that referrals are ready. By the way this isn't true for all agency processes, so not everyone experienced this. Expect the unexpected. I was told that in April 2006 and it's still true.

So here I sit in my living room, three computers going, work lap top, my laptop, netbook open ready for Skype, a flip phone ready to record, my cell phone charged and my landline ready for speaker.... My mom, friends Jane and Donna, and Sophie (the miniature Schnauzer). Ready with a checklist for the call... with pen in hand. One of us will get the information to be legible! 5:11... better close Part 1...
